As one of the largest Forensic Marks Bureaus in the country, we deal predominantly with footwear marks. Responsible for processing marks recovered by from crimes, we deal with marks from over 10,000 scenes every year. Our people are tasked with the classification and examination of these marks and related footwear.
The Bureau plays an important part in building a full forensic picture of what has happened at a crime scene. What’s more, footwear marks can provide conclusive evidence linking suspects’ trainers or shoes to a crime scene, or can help eliminate suspects’ footwear from an investigation.
